Recycle Bin: Recover an Accidentally Deleted VPS
Destroyed VPS instances first move to the Recycle Bin and can be restored during the retention period. Permanently deleted instances cannot be recovered.
Accidentally destroyed a server? The platform's Recycle Bin may still let you recover it.
How the Recycle Bin works
- When you destroy a VPS in the console, it is not permanently deleted immediately. It first moves to the Recycle Bin.
- During the retention period, you can restore the instance yourself, including its data.
- After the retention period ends, or after you choose Delete permanently, the instance cannot be recovered. Proceed carefully.
Restore an instance
- Open Console → Recycle Bin.
- Find the instance and select Restore.
- When restoration finishes, the instance returns to the VPS list. You can continue using it after its status returns to normal.
Additional information
- Destroying an instance requires you to enter your login password again to prevent accidental actions.
- An expired instance that is not renewed is suspended and eventually recycled. Renew it promptly or enable automatic renewal to prevent this.
- If the instance is not in the Recycle Bin or restoration fails, submit a ticket as soon as possible. Do not repeatedly purchase a resource with the same name.
